The Knight’s Armament SR-25 K7 Upper Receiver Kit extends the SR-25 lineage into the 6.5 Creedmoor platform, delivering superior long-range performance with the same reliability and craftsmanship KAC is known for. The K7 upper features a 14.5-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, free-floated inside the URX 6 M-LOK handguard, and equipped with Knight’s QDC Flash Eliminator. Designed as a drop-in replacement compatible with SR-25-pattern lowers, the K7 provides a compact, suppressor-ready solution that bridges the gap between maneuverability and precision.
Barrel
The 14.5-inch dimpled hybrid medium barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome lined, and chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor for enhanced ballistic performance and accuracy retention over distance. The hybrid contour and dimpled design improve rigidity while reducing weight and aiding in heat dissipation during sustained fire. A tuned gas system ensures smooth cycling and reliability with or without a suppressor.
Handgaurd
The URX 6 handguard offers a rigid, self-indexing design with a full-length 12 o’clock MIL-STD 1913 rail and seven sides of M-LOK mounting slots. It aligns precisely with the upper receiver via an internal tab-and-slot system and secures with a retention nut that provides exceptional resistance to shift or impact. The streamlined profile eliminates external fasteners and snag points while maintaining perfect zero retention for mounted accessories.
Flash Hider
The KAC 5.56mm 3-Prong Flash Hider disrupts propellant gas combustion at the muzzle, greatly reducing visible flash. Its three-prong design eliminates ringing during firing and remains fully compatible with KAC’s 5.56mm QDC suppressors.
